What’s Been Happening in Luv’ Land since late July?
Marga Scheide appeared in Dutch celebrity gossip magazines "Story" and "Weekend".
Following the release of "Only Luv' - the Matt Pop Remixes", Matt Pop and Peter Boonstra announced on social media that plans were underway to release the extended remixes, previously on vinyl only, on CD and probably on streaming platforms.
Media personality and entertainer Sidney Stacey released a fun Luv’ medley, bringing the group’s timeless hits back into the spotlight.
Meanwhile, José Hoebee and Ria Thielsch enjoyed quiet moments away from showbiz, welcoming visits from loyal fans and friends.

Marga Scheide's interview in Weekend (August 20, 2025)
The August 20 issue of Weekend magazine featured an interview with Marga Scheide.
Marga talked about dividing her time between Ibiza and the Netherlands, spending the summer in Naarden, where she played tennis and padel with friends and family.
She said she had found Amsterdam less pleasant than it used to be — people seemed grumpier, and strict city rules had taken away its festive atmosphere. In contrast, she felt that life in Spain was warmer and more relaxed. People were kinder, less bureaucratic, and more focused on living in the moment.
She admitted that she still felt the grief over Michiel’s passing, though she had learned to accept life as it was. She wasn’t actively seeking a new partner but remained open to love if it happened naturally, emphasizing that trust, communication, and humor were essential in any relationship.
As for her career, Marga said she had no plans for a comeback — she had achieved everything she wanted and was content with her accomplishments and her peaceful, balanced life.

Marga Scheide in Story's Prominentenpanel (August 6, September 10, and September 17)
Marga Scheide regularly joins Story magazine’s panel of well-known Dutch figures to share her views on current showbiz topics and television trends.
In the August 6 issue, the Story panel of entertainment personalities discussed Dione de Graaff’s alleged "diva behavior." The NOS presenter reportedly brought 40 outfits and a stylist to France for "De Avondetappe", the nightly talk show covering the Tour de France, which ran for over four weeks. The panelists were asked: "Could Dione manage with fewer clothes?" The former Luv’ singer replied: "No. She could probably do with less. But if she likes this, why not? One person travels with a large suitcase, another with a weekend bag. Even if Dione were to change clothes 500 times, that’s her own decision."

In the September 10 edition, Marga and her fellow celebrities discussed RTL 4’s new talk show "RTL Tonight", which gives a more prominent role to a panel of experts and less to its presenters, including Renze Klamer. The program struggled in its first weeks with disappointing ratings. The question put to the panel was: “Has RTL set the right course in its competition with other talk shows such as Pauw en De Wit and Vandaag Inside?
Marga commented: "Yes. I think it’s a good format. The experts know their stuff. Like many new programs, you sometimes have to give it time to connect with viewers. I have confidence in it."

Finally, in the September 17 issue, Marga and the other media personalities were asked: "Next year, Jan Smit celebrates his thirtieth anniversary. Should the singer please his fans, who have long hoped for a sequel to "Gewoon Jan Smit", with a new reality show?" Marga’s response was clear: "Yes. That would be great for the fans. After all, they go to his shows too. And if he has to give a glimpse into his private life—well, it seems to me he has nothing to hide."

Marga in Weekend (September 10): “I Would Never Worry Again”
Weekend magazine featured a story in which several Dutch public figures reflected on the life lessons they wish they could have shared with their younger selves. Marga Scheide offered a thoughtful perspective, saying: "If only I had known then what I know now — that you never have to worry, because everything in life unfolds the way it’s meant to. Your path is, to a large extent, already set. After I turned thirty, I began to find peace with that realization. Still, I always enjoyed life along the way."

Luv' Medley by Sidney Stacey
Transgender entertainer and media personality Sidney Stacey released a vibrant "Luv’ Medley" on July 25, available on all major streaming platforms. The medley featured Luv’s classics "Trojan Horse," "You’re the Greatest Lover," "U.O.Me (Waldolala)," and "Casanova."

In 2022, Sidney and Patty Brard appeared on RTL 4's mystery music game show "I Can See Your Voice". A devoted fan of Patty, Sidney was then nearing the final stage of her gender transition. Her performance on the TV program earned her €5,000, and she quickly formed a warm friendship with the former Luv' singer after connecting on Instagram.

In the years since, Sidney has often shown her admiration for Patty by promoting the "From PB With Love" panther-print collection for Kruidvat on social media. She has also accompanied her idol to various public events, including the 2024 premiere of the Videoland series "PATTY", based on La Brard’s life, and the Panther Party celebration at the Ziggo Dome earlier this year.

Only Luv' - The Matt Pop Extended Remixes to be released on CD and probably on streaming platforms

On May 24, the remix album "Only Luv': The Matt Pop Remixes" was officially released on CD and as a two-disc vinyl in pink or blue. Ahead of and after the album's release, several remixes came out as digital singles on streaming platforms to capitalize on the momentum of its launch.
The extended versions of these remixes (already released on vinyl) are supposed to come out on CD and probably on streaming platforms.
On August 26, Matt Pop posted this message on social media:
"Great news!
"Only Luv' - The Matt Pop Remixes" has been a huge success; the first batch of CDs is almost sold out! 💖💕
That’s why we’re considering a new release. This time, we’d like to make the extended versions – previously only available on vinyl – finally available on CD. (See the tracklisting below.)
But first, we’d love to know if there’s enough interest. Complete the form at the bottom of the page and let us know if you would like to see this album released on CD.
As soon as we have an update, we’ll announce it right here!"
On August 31, Matt posted an update:
"Luv' update: the response to the proposal for a CD release of my "Extended Mixes" has been overwhelming, so thank you to everyone who said yes; there is now a very good chance it will happen! I will keep you posted on any developments. 💖💕
Your requests for more Luv' tracks to be remixed have also been noted 🙂 If—and that's a big if—that happens, it won't be anytime soon, as I am busy working on other music at the moment. But both myself and Only Luv' project manager, Peter Boonstra, have ideas, and there are many more fabulous multitracks in the vaults.
However, to date, no release date has been announced for the "Matt Pop Extended Remixes" on CD and digital platforms.
