Shownieuws
La Brard occasionally appears on SBS6's infotainment news program "Shownieuws" as a showbiz expert. During the May 3rd broadcast, she and her colleagues discussed the new season of "The Voice of Holland."
The former Luv' singer was surprised to learn that two-thirds of the applicants for the new season were women. Despite the controversies surrounding the show, particularly concerns about safety, she found it remarkable that these recent events did not deter women from applying. "With everything that has happened, you’d think people would be hesitant, especially given the discussions about safety, but nothing seems to have impacted the women who applied," Patty shared on "Shownieuws".

She also highlighted that most of the applicants are under 30, with one applicant being just 16 years old. Despite past controversies involving former judges like Ali B and Jeroen Rietbergen, Patty believed the show should be back on television. She found it interesting that people were not discouraged by the previous issues, and that women, in particular, seemed unfazed by the show's history.
