SAIL Amsterdam 2025 (August 22)

On August 22, Chimène and her friends attended the tenth edition of the maritime event SAIL Amsterdam. After a ten-year hiatus, the event returned in 2025, having last been held in 2015. The celebration featured a parade of tall ships, modern vessels, and various naval ships arriving through the North Sea Canal. It attracted 2.5 million visitors.

EVA magazine (August 21) & Dress Red Day (September 29)

Chimène appeared in the August 21 issue of Eva Magazine, a Dutch women’s publication by public broadcaster EO (Evangelische Omroep), known for its focus on faith, personal growth, and authentic life stories.

The former Luv' singer discussed heart-related health issues, following residual damage from chemotherapy and other ups and downs in her life.

She highlighted that many women’s heart problems often went unrecognized and called on everyone in the Netherlands to wear red on September 29 to show their support. Chimène and her son Lyam attended the Cannes Yachting Festival, Europe’s premier in-water boat show and the world’s leading event for large sailing yachts, from September 8 to 13.

Strong Women Awards (October 6)

Chimène attended the Strong Women Awards at the Sofitel Legend Grand Amsterdam on October 6. Two winners (one celebrity and one unknown) received this prize: TV presenter Nicolette Kluijver and Vriendin reader Mariëtte Asagbo Krouwel. The award honored Nicolette's strength in overcoming lung cancer and her quiet dedication to various charitable causes. After surviving the disease eight years earlier, she had radically changed her life, devoting herself to environmental projects, animal welfare through IFAW, and women’s empowerment in Africa. Together with her partner Milan Zolak, she had recently bought a hotel in Gambia to create jobs and support the local community. Despite her success and recovery, Nicolette remained humble, saying she had done those things "out of pure selfishness" because helping others brought her deep happiness. She continued to value her health, family, and new love, describing herself as both emotional and grateful for her second chance at life.
