Patty, who was married to the Italian music publisher and heir to the FIAT empire Carlo Nasi in the 1980s, commented on Il Cavaliere's passing. "He was not only successful as a businessman. He enjoyed himself very much in private. He first married Veronica Lario, with whom he had children. He later met the 17-year-old nightclub dancer Karima El Mahroug (aka Ruby Rubacuori). 17 is very young. She was handsome. He had good taste.
