Shownieuws feat. La Brard: viewing figures and reaction to criticism related to The Voice of Holland

Dernière mise à jour : 20 mars

Here are the latest viewing figures of SBS6's entertainment news program "Shownieuws" featuring Patty Brard as a showbiz expert:

  • January 27th: 419.000 viewers/market share: 18%

  • January 28th: 497.000 viewers/market share: 20.5%

  • January 29th: 525.000 viewers/market share: 15.5%

During the January 29th edition of Shownieuws, Patty and her colleagues reacted to the criticism they received after their comments about sexual misconduct allegations on The Voice of Holland. Two days ago, Linda de Mol published a statement on her website targeting "sensationalist opinion makers" Angela de Jong, Rob Goossens, Beau van Erven Dorens and Youp van ’t Hek as well as her ex Jeroen Rietbergen (the controversial bandleader on The Voice of Holland). After Linda's declaration, the Shownieuws team also expressed its point of view. "We've been criticized as if we received orders "from above" and we were told what to say. We are allowed to tell whatever we want," Patty said, referring to her boss, TV mogul John de Mol. The ex-Luv' singer added that she supported Linda de Mol and considered her "an honest and good woman, who would never do anything at the expense of people or victims".
