What happened in Luv's land in 2025?

The former Luv' singers (including Marga Scheide, José Hoebee, Ria Thielsch, Chimène van Oosterhout, and Patty Brard) could count on platforms that were regularly updated:

"All You Need Is Luv' – Remastered & Expanded Edition" - March 14

"All You Need Is Luv'", the group's final album, initially released in 1994, was reissued in a remastered & expanded edition on a double CD and digital platforms on March 14. It featured the original tracklisting on CD 1 and the Ladies on Mars remixes on CD 2. Casper Janssen developed this project.

In anticipation of this reissue, seven Ladies On Mars remixes were released as digital singles between October 2024 and March 2025: Luv' Medley (Ladies On Mars Re-Touch Remix), "Don't Stop Now (Ladies On Mars Remix)", "Don't Stop Now (Ladies On Mars Extended Remix)", "You're The Greatest Lover (Ladies On Mars Re-Construction Mix)", "You're The Greatest Lover (Ladies On Mars Re-Construction Extended Mix)", "Let's Go To The Paradise Of Love (Ladies On Mars Remix)", and "Let's Go To The Paradise Of Love (Ladies On Mars Extended Remix)".

Moreover, this album was re-released exclusively for Record Store Day 2025 on April 12 as a limited pink-and-blue vinyl edition.

Only Luv' – The Matt Pop Remixes - May 24

On March 22, the website onlyluv.nl was launched, encouraging fans to reserve May 24 for an upcoming mysterious event. On March 29, the site and associated social media platforms announced the development of a new project: the release of the remix album "Only Luv' – The Matt Pop Remixes" on CD and as a two-disc vinyl in pink or blue.

The album, released by Concerto Records and initiated by Peter Boonstra, contained remixes of Luv's greatest hits and lesser-known songs by producer Matt Pop, using original master tapes provided by Hans van Hemert and Universal Music.

The Only Luv' release party took place at Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum on May 24, the same day the album was launched.

"Only Luv' – The Matt Pop Remixes" was also issued on all major digital platforms on June 20, following its initial physical release.

Ahead of the album's debut, two singles and an EP were issued on digital platforms: "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe (Matt Pop Album Mix)" on April 25, "I.M.U.R. (Matt Pop Album Remix)" on May 9, and "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe / I.M.U.R. / Si Que Si – The Matt Pop Remixes EP" on May 23. Following the release of the remix album, additional digital singles were made available to maintain momentum: "You're the Greatest Lover (Matt Pop Album Remix)" on June 13, "Don Juanito de Carnaval (Matt Pop Album Remix)" on July 22, "Trojan Horse (Matt Pop 2025 Extended Remix)" on August 18 and "Life Is On My Side (Matt Pop Remixes)" on November 28.

Luv' unveiled "Only Luv’ – The Matt Pop Remixes (Extended Versions)" on CD on October 31. This release was built on the original remix album "Only Luv’ – The Matt Pop Remixes".

Marga Scheide and José Hoebee signed some copies of the CD, including the extended remixes, for the lucky ones who were the first to order.

On December 19, "Only Luv' - The Matt Pop Remixes (Extended Versions)" was released on digital platforms (including Spotify and Apple Music).

Chimène van Oosterhout: Professional Career and Media Activities

As a multi-talented media personality, Chimène van Oosterhout remained visible in 2025, attending red-carpet, charity, and PR events. She was also involved in two RTL 4 television programs: "Nederland Ontdekt", a lifestyle and travel show, and "Cruise Life", a program centered on cruising.
