Former Luv' singers stand by the Ukrainian people

February 24th, 2022 saw the Russian invasion of Ukraine. As I'm writing this article, the war is still going on. Thousands of innocent people have died, and more than 2 million Ukrainians have already escaped from the country.

This tragedy has shocked the world, including unknowns and celebrities.

The official Facebook fan pages of Luv', José Hoebee, Marga Scheide and Ria Thieslch all expressed their support to the Ukrainian people immediately when the war started.

Ria Thielsch posted this message on her private Facebook page:

Chimène van Oosterhout also mentioned the Ukrainian war on her social media.

Diana van Berlo reposted a message of a humanitarian initiative on her Facebook page yesterday. This project called "Brabant Expres Reizen" deals with a touring car driven by two chauffeurs who will try to pick up women and children at the Ukrainian border.

Carina Lemoine wrote on Facebook on February 26th: "What kind of nightmare have we ended up in again 😱😰🥲".

Patty Brard posted this picture on her Instagram account:

Patty and other Dutch celebrities took part in the campaign "Samen in actie voor Oekraïne Giro 555: ‘Ik geef’" earlier this week. The Samenwerkende Hulporganisaties (Dutch for Cooperating Aid Organizations) launched this initiative to collect donations.

Five days ago, the SBS6 star reposted the message of the "Ik Geef (I give)" campaign on her Instagram account.
