Quinty Trustfull and Loretta Schrijver showed archives from Koffietijd, including Patty Brard. On May 26th, RTL 4's morning program will be aired for the last time. The larger-than-life TV personality has often been invited on this show. Ten years ago, the prima donna replaced Quinty twice to co-host the program with Loretta. Since March, after her 4-year deal with Talpa, she has been freelancing on TV. When asked if she wanted to do more than being an entertainment expert on Shownieuws and present her own TV show, she answered: "It depends on what it is. I'm interested in everything. I don't want to be involved regularly on television. My contact with Talpa is over. I can choose to do whatever I want. I'm an entrepreneur. I love my freedom. Some doors are closed, and others are open". "It's a pity that I depended a lot on television for a long time. I was afraid if a contract was not renewed. I don't depend on TV executives anymore. I'm busy with other things: a jewellery line with my daughter, beauty products...I like to meet new people. I'm not driven by fear anymore," she added.
Patty got emotional when a video message of her daughter Priscilla was broadcast. "I just want to say that I am very proud of you and that you are doing so well. From Shownieuws to your make-up line, Kruidvat and our jewellery line. You do it all! And you can be very proud of that. I love you very, very much," Priscilla told her mother.

During the May 13th broadcast, La Brard took the public by surprise when she appeared dressed in a one-piece swimsuit. It was her unconventional way to defend Countess Eloise of Orange-Nassau, who appeared in a swimsuit on RTL 4's celebrity photo contest "Het Perfecte Plaatje". Journalist Jeroen Snel, a royalty expert on RTL Boulevard, criticized the 20-year-old member of the Dutch royal family. In addition to Patty Brard, other Dutch celebrities, including Chantal Janzen, Jan Versteegh and Gwen van Poorten, appeared on social media in bathing suits with the hashtag "#magditweljeroensnel" to express their support.
A loud alarm went off ten times during the May 14th broadcast. One day later, Patty explained on Instagram that a malfunction in her new house's alarm caused a loud noise through her telephone, which was heard in the Shownieuws studio.

During the same "crazy" broadcast, the former Luv' singer discussed Ron Brandsteder's recent problems. Patty's first husband could not host his program on NPO Radio 5 on May 12th and was immediately replaced by ex-Dolly Dots singer Angela Groothuizen. Ron's absence caused a sensation in the Dutch media. After days of uncertainty and speculation, it turned out that Patty's ex was ill.
