Conchita, born on October 22nd, 1941, was an Antillean of Indian and Surinamese Creole descent.

Chimène has already informed in recent weeks her followers about her mother's ill health after her cerebral infarction. She wrote about her mother's situation in her latest column for WendyOnline.nl (Wendy van Dijk's online platform specialized in women's issues).
After her breast cancer last year and her father's death last Christmas, it's the third time in a few months that Chimène has gone through a tough situation.
