Chimène van Oosterhout in De Telegraaf: "I've been living between hope and fear"

Today's edition of De Telegraaf (Holland's most-read newspaper) features an interview with Chimène van Oosterhout in its "Privé" section (entertainment news and celebrity gossips). Click here to read an excerpt online.

The former Luv' singer recently underwent an important MRI examination related to her breast cancer. On November 23th, she announced her remission on her Instagram account:

The multitalented lady thanked her family, friends and followers who supported her.

Chimène worked on TV between 1996 and 2018

When De Telegraaf asks Chimène if she celebrates the good results of the MRI, she answers: "I haven't got the opportunity yet because I'm in the middle of a move. I am super happy, but that is somewhat overshadowed by the fact that my father, who has acute leukaemia, is in bad shape. But on December 1st I will be in my new place. Then I'll open a bottle of champagne.

Chimène also explains that she underwent chemotherapy and got support from many friends, including media personality Tanja Jess. She is also honest when she mentions her current problems: her father's cancer, the empty nest syndrome as her son left her home, no regular job, no regular incomes and her move.
