Marga Scheide & Michiel Gunning @ the release party of " The Legacy of ABBA" (Vol. 1 and Vol. 2)

On October 8th, Marga Scheide and her partner, Michiel Gunning attended the release party of Stany Van Wymeersch's latest books about ABBA entitled "The Legacy of ABBA" (Vol. 1 & Vol. 2). This event took part in the Slottsholmen restaurant & hotel in Västervik, Sweden. The other guests were Tomas Lebon (graphic designer), Hans Lõfvenberg (ABBA's assistant tour manager), Anders Hanser (ABBA's official photograph) and Tony Roth (Hootenanny Singers).

The Legacy of ABBA - Book launch in Västervik (including Marga Scheide and Michiel Gunning)

Last month, ABBA revealed great plans during a worldwide YouTube Livestream:

  • The release of Voyage, the group's first new album in 40 years, on November 5th, 2021.

  • The launch of ABBA Voyage, a residence show starting in May 2022 in a purpose-built venue (the ABBA Arena) in London featuring the motion capture digital avatars of the four band members (dubbed 'ABBAtars') alongside a 10-piece live band.

  • As a foretaste of the Voyage album, two new singles, "I Still Have Faith in You" and "Don't Shut Me Down", came out.

The Luv' ladies already collaborated with Stany van Wijmeersch. On May 26th, 2016, José Hoebee, Marga Scheide and Ria Thielsch took part in the release party of Stany's previous book 'We all love ABBA" at the Harbour Club in Amsterdam. This publication featured interviews with José, Marga and Michiel Gunning discussing their links with ABBA.
