More than five years after Luv's breakup and her battle with breast cancer, Chimène van Oosterhout is still a vibrant and active media personality. Here's a look at her latest news, events, and projects since February.
Cover of "Business Women Nederland" magazine
Chimène van Oosterhout graced the cover of the February 2025 issue of Business Women Nederland magazine. BWNL is a platform dedicated to increasing the visibility of female entrepreneurs in the Netherlands, fostering meaningful connections, and advocating for equal opportunities in business. In this feature, Chimène shared insights on balancing television work with entrepreneurship, public relations, and the process of writing a book.






Nederland Ontdekt
Chimène appeared on the television program "Nederland Ontdekt" on RTL 4, which explores a variety of topics, including hidden gems, luxury, travel, health, and beauty.
In the episode that aired on February 23, Chimène visited SenseCity, a health and wellness center in Breda, the Netherlands.





In the March 2 episode, she explored The Beauty Club in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands.

A repeat of the episode featuring Chimène's visit to Bonaire aired on March 9 and April 20.

Additionally, Chimène participated in the filming of two episodes of "Nederland Ontdekt," which are set to air after the summer. In April, she visited Curaçao, the island where she was born.


On June 19, Chimène travelled to Zierikzee, the Netherlands, where she visited DQA Health & Beauty.



The White Dinner Amsterdam
On February 25, Chimène attended the "White Dinner" at the Krasnapolsky Hotel in Amsterdam This event was organized by "Friends of the Brands", a company specializing in influencers' marketing and expert in social strategy and content management.



Adore Press Day
On March 25, Chimène attended the Adore Agency Press Day at the UMA Academy in Amsterdam. The event offered a variety of experiences, including product try-out and testing corners, face yoga sessions, a Q&A with the Glowing Skin Master, skin analyses by the UMA Clinic, a photobooth, all-day food and drinks, and a meet & greet with representatives from the agency.


Beurs Eigen Huis
Between March 28 and 30, Chimène took part in Beurs Eigen Huis, a major home and living fair held at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Representing Feenstra, a leading Dutch company specializing in installation and energy services, she spoke about key topics such as sustainability, insulation, solar panels, the net metering scheme, and much more.

Spot for Hartstichting
Between April 5 and 11, Chimène appeared in a TV commercial for the Dutch Heart Foundation (Hartstichting), a charity dedicated to raising awareness and funds for cardiovascular disease research. As an ambassador for the foundation, Chimène supported the cause. The commercial was aired on Socutera, a platform that features short social and charitable ads on Dutch public television (NPO).


Fashion Show in Hilversum
On April 12, Chimène hosted a fashion show at the Gooische Brink in Hilversum, the Netherlands.






BeWellness and Improve Skincare
As a freelancer running her own PR company, the former Luv' singer frequently collaborates with brands on promotional campaigns. In April, she participated in the filming of videos for BeWellness, a wellness resort chain, and Improve Skincare, a Dutch skincare brand.




Premiere of Dochters
On May 7, Chimène attended the premiere of the film "Dochters", which included a nice dinner at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam.





Coiffure Awards
Chimène attended the Coiffure Awards 2025, the prestigious event in the Dutch hairdressing industry, which took place on May 18 at Studio 21 in Hilversum.



Chimène in Party: "My heart is fragile”
The June 4 issue of Party Magazine featured an interview with the multitalented media personality. At 61, the ex-Luv’ singer and beloved TV presenter opened up about her extraordinary resilience after being diagnosed with breast cancer three times. What few people knew was that she had also survived heart failure on three separate occasions. In the candid conversation, Chimène explained why she had become more cautious in life and shared an urgent message for other women: "Cardiovascular disease is extremely dangerous. It’s actually one of the leading causes of death among women." A moving and eye-opening feature that highlighted both her personal journey and a critical, often-overlooked health issue.



Chimène in Privé: "Death and I have crossed paths more than once"
The June 22 issue of Privé magazine included an interview with Chimène, in which she reflected on her past health struggles, shared how deeply she missed her son Lyam, and opened up about the grief she felt over the passing of Manuëla Kemp.



National Herring Party
On June 23, Kasteel Nyenrode, a historic medieval castle located in Breukelen, provided the elegant setting for the 62nd National Herring Party, the Netherlands’ oldest and most distinguished networking event, renowned for its informal atmosphere, meaningful connections, rich traditions, and, of course, the finest new-season herring.
Chimène van Oosterhout was among the invited guests, embracing the spirit of the event as she mingled with fellow attendees, enjoyed the festive ambiance, and sampled the celebrated Dutch delicacy. Her presence added a touch of glamour to an already memorable afternoon.





Photo shoot for Eva magazine
On June 25, Chimène participated in a photo shoot for Eva Magazine, a Dutch women’s publication by public broadcaster EO (Evangelische Omroep), known for its focus on faith, personal growth, and authentic life stories. The photos and accompanying article will be published in late August.




Chimène in Story
The July 2 issue of Story magazine included an article on the larger-than-life celebrity, in which she opened up about past struggles, the loss of her parents, her relationship with her son, and her journey toward writing a book.

A Lazy Sunday Afternoon
On July 6th, Chimène and her friend Nathalie van der Mee attended the prestigious lifestyle event ‘A Lazy Sunday Afternoon’ at Lengers Yachts in Muiden, enjoying an exclusive gathering in the company of premium brands such as Doctor Babor, KiMi Aviation, Rokkakei, and Fever Tree.
A Dress with a Purpose: Chimène's Charity Auction for Cancer Support
Earlier today, Chimène announced on her social media that she wanted to auction a GEISHA summer dress for charity (see photos below). A long-time advocate for cancer support, she is once again raising funds to help those affected by the disease—a cause deeply personal to her since her first battle with cancer at the age of 26.
